Sure he's a little old for me,

not to mention dead,

but boy,

 I think I would have a had a good time with Old Lucio.

His work is sexy and beautiful,

and while what he would have thought of me 

is another question...

he does seem to like both slits and holes, so you never know....

I know a friend, Bruno Gambone, who traded

a painting with Lucio 

(Bruno was a minimalist painter before he returned to ceramics)

but never went to pick it up

from his studio.

Years passed, and then it was too late.

I love when Bruno tells that story,

because instead of being sad or pissed,

he laughs!

You have to love the Italians.
