important paris collection at wright20

I don't know much about this combo platter of a one-owner sale
that Wright will be serving up in June,
but it looks very interesting.

Lots of balls.
If they were silver, Greg.org
would get excited....

Oh!
An unfortunate sculpture has appeared in an otherwise
gorgeous room.
Very French of them....

This is better.
More balls.

Balls, balls, balls....
Is that a silver one in the upper left?

YIKES!
She's back!

Whew, she's gone.
I can relax in this beautiful room.
Big ball on the table....

LOVE
IT
!

  1. The sculpture is by Elmgreen & Dragset. Make them the focus of your next post, check out their pavillion at the last Venice Biennial or this sample:

  2. Very interesting. I knew generally of their work, but would have never guessed that hideous "Saint-Germain-des-Prés Shopper in a Windstorm" sculpture was theirs. Atypical it seems. I like their work, I should do a post to learn more. Thanks!
