"not on view" #3: the cooper-hewitt

WOW,

did I stumble upon a goldmine with the

Cooper-Hewitt archive,

I mean I am not surprised 

since it is the National Design Museum,

but boy oh boy 

do they have some cool shit,

and 

TONS and TONS 

of it!

And the website is crazy with all the 

ways you can search for things,

by color, country, departments, exhibitions,

people, periods, random, roles, and types.

The sub-catagories under each of those is kinda 

mind-blowing and numbing too!

So here are some of my 

"not on view" picks,

which is kinda cheating since 

nothing is on view currently 

while they are closed undergoing

MAJOR renovations.

This guy is nutzo huh?

The ottoman fits into it so it becomes a ball

when not in use.
