johnson trading gallery moves to queens

My friend
of
has moved his base of operations
to Queens.
It might seem like a surprising move,
but Paul is always two steps head of the
rest of us,
so it really didn't surprise me that
he would do something so "radical"....

The place is a former 1940s theater.
Huge great quirky space.

It is loaded with killer stuff....

That's Mission Control up there.
Let's go check it out....

Detail of the office.

Now we are talkin'!
This was the lounge area of the theater.
Check out that ceiling.
The whole room is dedicated
to our late friend

Robert, Robert everywhere....

More RL in the office....

Let's go back downstairs....

Did I mention this place is huge?

These were designed by
Mario Ceroli
for Poltronova in 1972.

Lots more Mad Max....

Kinda love this chair.... Max again.

  1. That space is fantastic! Queens is where it's at now. I'll have to go check out that space someday soon.
