my new digs for the week

My friends Simon and Melanie

have very graciously 

invited me to 

stay with them while

in London.

They live in a very magical place,

you feel like you are in the woods, but you 

are actually so close to the city.

Beautiful.

The weather this morning has been overcast 

yet bright,

with very strong gusts of wind

coming through every few minutes.

There is silence, and then a wave of

sound sweeps over you.

I feel like I am in 

that amazing scene from

"Blow-Up"

where Antonioni shows the trees 

swaying and twisting in the wind.

Simon and Mel's interior

helps set that
