Dang nab it!
I ain't been posting worth a shit lately.
Sorry about that.
I've been busy, but everyone is busy,
so what's the rub?
I really think it is that damn
So until I kick my habit,
and I'll try to get better, or at least more prolific....
Until then
please
enjoy my visual excerpts
from the highly entertaining book

DADA love <3
ReplyDeleteI visited Beatrice Wood's former mortal home and studio up on the hill in Happy Valley, Ojai, Ca. 2 days ago, Sunday (1-9-2016) afternoon... and it was the best day I've had in quite some time... No shit, I literally `felt' Beato there with me most of the time I was there (about 3 hours.) I requested a full tour of the grounds and esp. her studio space, cause I really just wanted to touch her kiln (all graciously allowed), and not only is most of the place still all Beatrice, her things, her art, her supplies, her eternal essence, all left (mostly) intact just as she left them when she died... It really was the bomb, man! I would have to say that I was literally so ridiculously excited about the whole affair, and just BEING THERE and walking around freely drinking merlot for about 3 hours, that the whole experience was definitely akin to meeting and getting to hang out with an all-time favorite band, musician or movie star... I felt like a little kid just arriving at Disneyland that entire afternoon.... DADA FU%^&N' ROCKS AND STILL LIVES... AND SO THE F*&K DOES BEATO WOOD, I am really quite satisfied to report all of this exciting (well, to me it was, at any rate!) information for you here!!
