RIP Steve

My dad wrote me after he heard. 

Here is what he said to me:

Dear P,

Just heard about the death of Steve Jobs. 

 It's sad, 

and a reminder that science is imperfect, 

certainly as far as animal health goes.
A commentator spoke of his incessant curiosity, 

and

 I think that's what sets the exceptional apart.  

All of us can learn, every day, 

and some of us can help others if we keep our eyes open, 

our brains alert, 

our ears hearing, 

and our interest in life vibrant.  

Be strong, my son, 

and continue to be curious 

and to recognize the beauty of life in its many forms.
