I have been wanting to do a post on
since seeing her work with
at Art Basel Miami in December.
(I think she was at the Aqua Show.)
Talk about slow,
anyway, better late than never....
It's the kind of work that drives me crazy in a good way,
anal, ridiculously complicated, repetitive
and tedious.
And also beautiful.
I like her 3D architectural work the best,
but some of the simple flat sheets are amazing too.
I hope she has a contract with X-Acto....
Her work is awe-inspiring and makes me want to scream at the same time. If I pause to think of her creating any of these pieces I go nuts.
