weird and wonderful: thomas wilfred's clavilux

I was reading an old New Yorker last night
and came across an article
about
and the strange light
he showed at the beginning and end of
(I haven't seen it yet, I don't go to theaters,
but that is a whole 'nuther story....)
Anyway,
I started Googling and
what I will show you here is a
bouillabaisse of images from the
Yale University Library's
I will leave it up to you
to explore more if you find
him as interesting as I did....

new carlo mollino book & exhibition

Carlo Mollino
Lago Nero Ski-Lift
Turin
1947

Here is some more
booty:
This is a MUST have book for Mollino freaks,
tons of stuff you haven't seen before, and a bit of a different
approach from the other dealer driven and
hero-worshiper tomes.
Not surprising since it
was the last exhibition
by
during run at
in München, Germany.
You can see
thru January 8th, 2012.
Anyone up for a road trip???
