I found the book
"The Private World of Picasso"
in my Southern library,
the photos by David Douglas Duncan
are amazing, and his studio,
well,
not so shabby....

ReplyDeleteEnchanted by the notion of a Villa-in-the-South studio. Just imagine the freedom there, your greatest stress being that first mark on the canvas or which version of an Owl will creep to mind today, to be rendered in moist clay. I'm there, brother Picasso. Where can I get a goat and an olive tree in Chicago? The jangling keys to my garage studio will do.
