  2. I respectfully disagree. In every case it's over the top & I can't imagine anyone pulling any off this off. Nice for a photo shoot or just as objects on the dresser. This is an area where the Scandinavians dominate. Subtle, beautiful even at the extremes & almost always totally wearable in lots of situations. The Italian stuff borders on being tacky. there I said it. I do like the Sottsass ring I just wish the scale was a little smaller. Fucking late sixties design is mostly a horror show & just a preview of all the ugly junk the 70's would give us.
