chandigarh kids

Fun!
I'd like to be able to climb all over a
Pierre Jeanneret sculpture!

Dude, check out those box stool table things.
I bet the handles are different colors....

More of Pierre Jeanneret's amazing designs.

They seem to love to study outside in India.

Loving that wall, and the kids matt stool pad riser thingys.

I have no idea what this means....
But it is great looking.
It would make a good tattoo.

Outside again.
Stools please.

Outside, even though you have a brand spanking new building
behind you.
All of these photos are from 1956.

Look at all the amazing details in this one shot....

Teachers

The stencils on the chairs are very cool.
Chairs are not bad either.

Oh! She looks pissed!
Wall is amazing.

I had to show this Pierre Jeanneret sculpture again,
so killer....

You can buy the book for $1000
here
which seems fitting the way the
has been going.
OR,
for
$53.21
Up to you,
but
believe you me,
 your friends will be
WAY
more impressed if you
pay the
$1000....

  1. Yup, it's just so random how eBay and auctions are...

  2. I was just bemoaning that the Nasher Sculpture Center here in Dallas is so freaking militant about kids touching their bronze and steel pieces out in the garden. Like a freaking kid paw could hurt a Richard Serra wall. As if the thing doesn't get hailed on, shat on and frozen upon anyway because it's OUTSIDE. These pics are great.

  6. Imagine Tony Hawk pulling a 5-0 grind on the sculpture... I think Pierre would be into it. Art should be interactive if possible....

  7. e squared plus f squared equals h squared. that is the formula for figuring the length of a hypotenuse.
